The match resulted in a win for the Sandon Club by 10 sets and 81 games to 6 sets and 73 games. Details are as follow, Sanson players being mentioned first— Women’s singles: Mrs K. Lumsden beat Miss R. Hill, Miss L. Lumsden beat Mrs Dixon, Miss L. Gedye beat Mrs Davison, Mrs D. Leitch lost to Mrs Burne. Men’s singles: D. Leitch beat D. Burne, M. Sanson lost to J. Gibbons. J. Bradley beat L. Burne, K. Lumsden lost to J. Warren. Mixed doubles: Leitch and Mrs Lumsden beat D. Burne and Miss Hill; Sanson and Miss Lumsden beat Gibbons and Mrs Dixon; Bradley and Miss Gedye lost to L. Burne and Mrs Davison; Lumsden and Mrs Leitch lost to J. Warren and Miss Burne.
