Two and a-half lengths; one and a-quarter lengths. Time, 3.38 1-4. ST. KILDA HANDICAP MANANUI, 8.4 (Shean) 1 Lady Mauve, 7.7 (Badger) 2 Apollo, 7.6 (Morris) 3 Eight started, including Pantoon. Head; neck. Time, 2.32 J . SOUTH YARRA HANDICAP REGULAR BACHELOR, 9.4 (Voitre) 1 Amiable, 8.5 (Ellis') 2 Beechwood, 8.6 (Badger) ........ 3 Thirteen started including Royal Order and Namakia. Half a length; length. Time, 1.10J —equal to the course record. Elegance was unplaced in the Gordon Steeplechase and Custos unplaced in the Kooyong Welter. WARWICK FARM RESULTS Received Sunday, 8.5 p.m. SYDNEY, March 13. Results of the Warwick Farm Races held on Saturday were:— MAIDEN HANDICAP. KAITERE, 8.0 (Battle) 1 Naterra, 7.9 (O’Sullivan) 2 Be Friendly, 8.1 (McMenamin) .. 3 Fourteen started. Won by one and a-half lengths; two and a-half lengths. Time, 1.264. (Second Division.) DIAMOND WEDDING, 7.5 (Duncan) I Bcauverre, 5.12 (Bartle) ...... 2 Orontes, 7.7 (W. Cook) 3 Fifteen started, including Mosaic. Won by one and a-half lengths; long head. Time, 1.141. Politesse was unplaced in the first division of this event and Highborn unplaced in the Denham Court Handicap. Haut Monde and Limoux were unplaced in the Warwick March Handicap, while Golden Chance was also unplaced in the Edensor Park Handicap. GRAND NATIONAL PURCHASE Received Sunday, 8.5 p.m. LONDON, March 12. Mrs. C. Evans, formerly Camille Clifford, famous on the Edwardian stage, has bought Royal Mail, last year s winner of the Grand National and this year’s joint favourite. The price was 6500 guineas.
