Croquet in Feilding
Four members from the Oroua Croquet Club were invited to visit the Central Club on AA’ednesday afternoon for friendly games. Oroua members were lavishly entertained by Central members in their usual style. The following are the scores, Central players being mentioned first:— Alesdames Fla vail and Knight 17 v. Alesdames Aitken and Alanning -13; Alesdames White and Fidler 17 v. Alesdames Alason and Bridge 22. Combined Buttons Match. In a combined buttons match played on St. John’s croquet green on Tuesday Air. nud Airs. C.olding (holders), defeated Alesdames Flavall and Ellery .(Central), 26—16.
