thoughtful Talk to St. Peter’s Mothers’ Union

REV. N. S. BARNETT THE SPEAKER The influence of the Virgin Mary on the life of Jesus was the theme of a thoughtful and interesting address to tht St. Peter’s branch of the Mothers 1 "Union at Terrace End yesterday by Rev. N. S. Barnett, vicar of Bulls. The speaker was introduced by Rev. F. S. Ramson, who also conveyed the thanks of the branch at the conclusion of the talk.

The tea tables were gay with vases of marigolds, blue daisies, maidenhair ferns, and a dainty afternoon tea was served by Mesdames F. Smith, C. Cater and E. A. Taylor. Vocal solos by Mrs. E, Wright gave much pleasure, her accompanist being Miss E. 'Lancaster, Mrs. Fairbrother returning thanks.
