DEATH OF SENEGAL Senegal, an eight-year-old gelding "by Nigger from the Autumnus mare Kinsem, received fatal injuries when he fell with Sergeant Major while .running in the Cup Bracelet on the second day of the Newnham Cup meeting (Tasmania) recently. Taken from New Zealand a couple of years ago, he was raced by Mr. “L. Kassa.” He won 16 races and £969 in stakes in 91 starts in Tasmania*
