Dockyard Engineers To Continue Strike

OVER £50,000 LOST IN WAGES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, SYDNEY, Feb. 17. The dockyard engineers, who have now been idle for 27 weeks, by a small majority, decided to continue their strike. This means that Judge Beeby, of the Federal Arbitration Court, tomorrow will probably deregister the two unions involved with a membership of over 30,000 in the Commonwealth. The engineers have already lost over £50,000 in wages by the protracted strike.
