From Our,Own CarreeDondeat. The Guy' Cfip matches ‘ Which were to have been played last tiaturday against Beaconsfield, and which were postponed owing to rain, are to be held to-morrow (Saturday). The local courts oontinue to be the scene of much activity, members displaying a much keener interest than has been shown for some time. On the men’s ladder, M. C. Amadio, who had dropped to second place, challenged and defeated T. Clapham. His stay was shortlived, however, as G. Hamilton, who has shown great improvement, defeated both the above-mentioned players and is now number one on the ladder. Tokorangi School. The Tokorangi school committee decided at its February meeting that the annual picnic was to be held at Tokorangi on Wednesday, February 23. At the BunnyEhorpe Sports last Saturday, the Tokorangi cchood team of four runners (Calvin Kere, June Bush, Taki Paranihi and Lloyd Iwikau) was successful in bringing home the Faulkner Cup for the most points in the primary school events, beating tho redoubtable Kopan* team. Teams will probably attend the Feilding, Sanson and Marton sports. Mr and Mrs R. J. Managh and Miss R. Managh have returned home after a visit to Rotorua.
