■ The series of games for the TakaroTo Raki cup between Takaro and Northern Bowling Clubs was concluded for the season on the Takaro green on Tuesday evening, when, after four pleasant and most exciting games, Takaro emerged the winners by three games to one. Mr. P. Larcomb, on behalf of the Northern Club, after some most approriate remarks, handed the cup over to Mr. E. H. Smith, who, on behalf of the Takaro Club, responded in like manner. Cheers were given for both teams.

The following are the results of play, Takaro players being mentioned first: Wagstaff, Lincoln, Jarrctt, Monks (s) 14 beat Elliott; .Smith, Larcomb, Anderson (s). Lyall, Burnett, Bo vis, A. Smith (s) 27 beat Osborne, Rainforth, Kirk, Kershaw (s) 24. RosvalJ, Abrahams, Hearsay, Littlejohn (s) 22 beat Reed, Mills, Lynch, Wood (s) 20. Morgan, Fisher, Russell, Cooksley (s) 24 lost to Connor, Parkes, Lee, McDonald (s) 27.
