Maori War Veteran
DEATH IN ENGLAND SYDNEY, Feb. 15. Private advice has been received by cable of the death of Colonel J. E. D. Taunton, aged 94, at his home at Gloucester. Colonel Taunton served as an officer in the 50th Queen’s Own Foot Regiment in the Maori War.
