New Zealand Butter for Canada

THIRD BIG SHIPMENT TO LEAVE Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Last Night. A butter consignment of 10,000 boxes or about 250 tons will leave Auckland for Canada on Tuesday by the liner Niagara, the shipment being the third big cargo to be exported in an effort to relieve the serious shortage in Canada. No further substantial exports are expected to be made from New Zealand, but the Niagara's consignment will bring tho total to 1375 tons. Tho three shipments should benefit New Zealand to the extent of more than £150,000 on current London quotations. The first consignment, of 375 tons, was taken to Vancouver from Auckland last month by the liner Aorangi, and a record shipment of 750 tons, part of which was loaded here, will leave Lyttelton on Saturday for Halifax by the Surrey. The Niagara will reach Vancouver on March 11, but the Surrey should not arrive at Halifax until some weeks later.
