Tho New Zealander, Mr. Arthur, who is touring Europe studying wool industries and the needs of importers, visited local factories. He was tendered a municipal reception and received a gold medal from the Chamber of Commerce. Roubaix is an important industrial town in France near Lille. in the manufacture of woollens, cotton, linen and velvet, it has a population of 117,190.
