National Party Prospects

REMARKS BY HON. A, HAMILTON In the course of his remarks at the garden party held in Feilding yesterday the Hon. A. Hamilton, leader of the National Political Party, expressed confidence in the forthcoming election results, suggesting that the Manawatu, Rangitikei and Palmerston North seats would be won by the party’s candidates. “I think we will also be able to win Wanganui,” he continued, ‘ ‘ while we are making a bid for at least eight of the city seats. The indications are that we will also win the return of the East Coast seats lost at the last election and we ought to win the Waikato seat. Given your help, we will,” he concluded.
