From Our Own Correspondent Yankee Tournament,

On Saturday a tennis tournament, for which'there was a small entrance fee, was sponsored by the jubilee committee to further augment the funds. Quite a large number of enthusiasts gathered, and before the rain commenced about 3 p.m-, the greater proportion of the games had been concluded. The winners proved to be as follow: Ladies, Mrs H. Turner and Miss Ransom (equal); men, Mr I. Davey. The trophies were presented by Mr G. Davey.
