ELECTION OF OFICERS TO AUCKLAND COUNCIL Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Oct. 28. The election of permanent officers to the Auckland council of the Federation of Labour resulted last evening in the return of Messrs F. G. Young, Hotel and Restaurant Workers’ Union, as president; W. J. CujLhbert, Auckland Waterside Workers' Union, as vice-president, land H. Campbell, Painters’ Union, as secretary. The following were elected to the disputes board: Messrs Young, Cuthbert, Campbell, T. Anderson (Seamen's Union), and T. Stanley (Labourers’ Union). j The counting of votes for the election of the executive is proceeding. All voting was by preference. There are 125 delegates representing 44 unions.
