Shop Arrangements During Rugby Game
RETAILERS WILL BE ABLE TO SUIT THE PUBLIC. All visitors to Palmerston North to see the Springbok football match will bo pleased to know that arrangements have been made for retailers to keep open until 1.30 p.m., and re-open again at 4.15 p.m. to-morrow (Wednesday), in order to give visitors ample opportunity to do their shopping in town. Although retailers were anxious to give their staffs an opportunity to witness the match, it was desired that the public visiting the town should bo given the best possible service, and *6 arrangements were accordingly made to close only during a short period of the afternoon. SEATS MUST BE CLAIMED Patrons aro advised by the Rugby Union that all seats which havo been pencilled in must be claimed by noon to-day, otherwise they will be sold.
