Jolly Dance Celebrated

) A dance held at Palmerston North • Girls’ High School last evening provided a very jolly occasion for some fifty L girls and their partners. Tho principal, • Aliss E. E. Turner and Galvan. 2 Two form rooms with the folding - doors doors thrown open provided an t admirable dance hall which was approi priately decorated with the addition of balloons and streamers to provide a festive appearance. Excellent music was supplied by the Boys’ High School band and there were novelty dances to add to the fun. Mr. N. D. Stubbs made an admirable AI.C. Supper provided a merry interlude with many hands to lighten the work. A statue dance was won by Pat Hughes and Ron Taylor, and a Alonte Carlo by Alargaret Wilson and F. ' Aloresby.
