Woman Murdered for Her Camera
ASSASSINS HELD HER AS PISTOL WAS RELOADED After confessing to the murder of the 29-year-old daughter of tlio Paraguayan Minister of Austria, a man was made to reconstruct the crime with two accomplices in Vienna. Motive for the murder was robbery. The murderer's haul was a camera. The murderer, an unemployed exsoldier named Schloegel, and two accomplices, unemployed youths named Fleck and Steyskal, decided to hold up and rob a motorist. Armed with pistols and wearing uniform, they stood in a lonely part of Neunkirchen, Lower Austria. When the Minister's daughter, Senora Wingreen, passed driving her car alone, Schloegel gave her a signal to stop. He asked for a lift, and when she replied, <*l am afraid I cannot as 1 am 1 quite alone,” he shot her through the' shoulder. Crying out, “Don't kill me. I will | give you anything you want," the girl 1 tried to escape. Schloegel shot her again, through the head. But as she still showed signs of life the murderer placed his hand in her mouth and dragged her across the seat by the jaw, holding her there while the pistol was again loaded by an accomplice.
