Mr. Max Jensen, of Kaponga, Taranaki, a former resident of Ballanee, and well-known in Pahiatua boxing circles, is at present visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. Tait, Ballanee. Mr. Morton Lawson (ex-president) is representing the Pahiatua R.S.A. at the annual conference of the New Zealand R.S.A. in Wellington. Mr. George Paterson, M.Sc., second son of Dr. Hugh and Mrs. Paterson, of Pahiatua, is leaving for England next month, with the intention of making his domicile there. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Cooper, of MaDgatainoka, are holidaying at New Plymouth and Haw era. Two membors of the Wellington Education Board, Mr. A. Donald and Colonel McDonald, are visiting several schools in tho district. After spending a holiday in Petone, Mr. and Mrs. V. Scott and famly have returned to Pahiatua.
