Frightened Off

MAN’S ATTACK ON A WOMAN. Per Press Association. WAIHI, Last Night. Miss Edna Menzics, a clerk employed at Wallace Supplies, while proceeding on her bicycle to her home, three miles out from town, on the Waihi Plains, at 9 o'clock last night, was followed by an unknown man on a bicycle. He overtook her when she was nearing her home and pushed her off her machine. Her screams frightened the man, and he made off. Minor bruises and shock were suffered by Miss Menzies, who was unable to return to her duties to-day.
