Kowhai Rebekah Lodge

There was a fair attendance of members at the fortnightly meeting of the Kowhai Rebekah Lodge, Feilding, last week when N.G. Sister N. M. Macfarland presided. Two more members were nominated and after business had been discussed the lodge closed in the orthodox manner. The Dick and Lindsay cup was played for once more, by teams chosen from Iviwitea and Kowhai lodges. After some very exciting games of euchre and cribbage the result was very much in favour of Kowhai.

Bro. W. Dewar, captain of the Kiwitea team, thanked the sisters for the pleasant evening and hoped before long to issue another challenge. After partaking of the usual supper a very happy evening terminated.
