Second Day at Rotorua
Per Press Association. ROTORUA, Last Night. Tho final day of the Rotorua Racing Club’s annual meeting opened in showery weather but after the first race bright sunshine prevailed. There was a large attendance. The track was in good order and the totalisator handled £18,965 compared will £17,282 for the samo day last year, an increase of £1683. The takings for the meeting were £44,023 10s compared with £36,456 10s, an increase of £7567. A Culcutta business man accepted an invitation to stay with a wealthy bachelor friend, and went to bed on his first night the worse for a drinking bout with his host.
