From Our Own < 'nriuspoinTeht Mr and Airs Proctor and their small son have returned homo after holiday-making In Napier and Foxton. Mrs F. Youlo and children are the guests of Air and Airs K. Pettigrew. Alr and Mrs T. Bardie liavo returned home after staying wilh Mrs T. Button. Airs J. Alackenzio Is at present visiting Rotorua. Air and Mrs Long and their small son have returned to Wellington after spending a holiday with Airs Buddy. After a short stay at her home at Utuwal, Alisa D. Cheyne has returned to Wellington. Airs T. Searlo and Miss J. Searle. of Delaware, are at present away on holiday. Tlie ITtuwal hall was the scene of a very jolly dance on Wednesday evening Despite the heavy rain, quite a crowd of young people gathered, u number Journeying from ns far as Apitl and Klmbolton. Music was supplied for the occasion by Air R. Prince and Air J. Ilansen. of Apitl. Aliss AlcKny played an extra. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr W. AlcKegg. Among those present were Airs ITarkness, wearing navy repp, Mrs F. Cheyne, red crepe; Misses D. Prince, royal blue and white repp; J. Enright, lemon crinkle crepe; AT. Harland, navy and white figured silk, J. Prince, pink floral georgette; M. Cheyne, sage-green foam crepe; AI. Mekay, shell pink and silver crepe; M. l-larkness, blue floral marocain; C. Hammings, green crepe de chine; AI. Foot, green silk crepe; Madge McKay, pink crepe and silver lame; AI. Hooper, plnlc crepe; F. Prince, rose silk; D. Cheyne, black lace; L. Cheyne, lemon floral.
