(From Our Own Correspondent) General. The Sports Club committee is leaving . no stone unturned to make the sports l meeting, which takes place on Saturday, February 20, a huge success. Work which is being done on Hie track should meet i with the approval of the competitors, while the patrons will be kept in close touch with events on the day by means ot a public address system. The catering in the tea booth is again in the hands of the ladies of the Tennis Club. Personal. Mrs A. Lassen and family, of “Grande Vue,’’ Iliwinul, are staying at tho guest house, Waitarere Beach. The Misses M. and N. Greenhow are | spending a few days at Foxton. Mr. W. B. Duthie, who has been an Inmate of tho Palmerston North Hospital i for several weeks, has returned home. Mrs .T. Baker is making steady progress towards recovery and has returned home from hospital.
