(From Our Own Correspondent) Jubilee Executive Meeting Further details in connection with the : coming jubilee celebrations were decided , at a meeting held on Monday evening last. The chairman, Mr E. W. Cowdrey, prei sided. It was decided that the lunction at the school should commence at 1u.30 a.m., when the following gentlemen will bo invited to address the gathering: The patron, (Mr Robert Ferguson), tho Minister of Education, the chairman of the , Eudcation board (Mr E. F. Hemingway), tho lion. J. G. Cobbe, Mr J. Batchelar, Mr A. Campbell, and Mr J. S. Tingey. other speakers will be heard during the progress of the jubilee luncheon, which will ; commence at 12.30 p.in. A loud-speaker is to bo installed so that those outside ; the hail may hear the speeches. Before leaving the school the gathering will hear . the oldest headmaster present call the roll of pupils who attended the school in ; its first year. Details in connection with < the luncheon were discussed and decided i on. It was resolved that 500 programmes dealing with the three days be printed, to be distributed on the first day. Owing to the school’s opening being so late, it ] will not be possible to hold a senool concert on tho Saturday night, but Mr E. ; Long agreed to arrange for adult items. ■
