Approximately 15,000 farm families have already migrated from the drought-stricken areas of the Dakotas, Kansas and Montana. As high as three out of four of all the farm families in some of these States are being supported by grants and loans from the Resettlement Administration. The plains region moreover, is again suffering from moisture deficiency due to the failure of the snows this winter. The North Pacific Coast States to which the migrants are flocking have a serious problem to absorb them
