Another New Building for Broadway

T. AND G. COMPANY BUYS SIXTY-FOOT FRONTAGE. During the past l’ew years a number iof large firms have been interested in securing premises for tho extension of their business in Palmerston North. Broadway avenue in particular has been actively engaged in tho erection of new buildings. Last week arrangements were completed by the T. and G. Mutual Life Assurance" Company for the purchase ot a 60-foot frontage of land, facing Broadway, from the Bank of Australasia, Ltd. It is the intention of the company shortly to erect a building of several storeys for the purpose of centralising their Manawatu and other districts’ business in this city. Apart from their own requirements shops and offices will be built for letting purposes. The premises when erected will be a valuable addition to Broadway. The sale of the property was effected through the agency of Messrs. Nash and Lovelock and Oscar Monrad and Son.
