Australians Flocking To New Zealand

1500 PASSENGERS ON FOUR LINERS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 9.25 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 16. Australians this year are flocking to New Zealand for the Christmas and New Year holidays. On four liners sailing between Friday and Christmas Day more than 1500 passengers are hooked. The Awatea and Maunganui sailing on Friday are taking 760 of these hookings, the heaviest for a number of years, and in pleasant contrast to last December when the Tasman services were disorganised by the shipping strike.
