Penny Fare May Go
DUNEDIN TEAM FINANCES. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Nov. 24. Dunedin citizens may not be able to boast much longer that theirs is the only city in the Dominion with a penny tram fare, for a special report of the tramways committee recommends its abolition and the charging of a cash fare of twopence for the first section. proposal and also concession card curtailments are necessary to find the additional revenue, £24,177, required to carry out the 40-hour week.
