Mrs. I. Rota, of Hawera, is spending a fortnight’s holiday in Palmerston North.

Miss Mysio Higgle, Halcombo road, Poilding, has returned home after a visit to Hawke’s Bay and Wellington.

A visitor to Palmerston North is Miss C. Jones, of Dunedin, who is the guest of her uncle, the Mayor (Mr. A. E. Manßford), and Mrs. Mansford.

Mrs. P. Lane, who has been the guest of Mrs. M. Hindmarsh, Soapoint road, Napier, has returned to Palmerston North.

Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Frecklington are back in Feilding after a very pleasant holiday visit to Victoria and New South Wales.

Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Cowpor, of Waiono, Dannevirke, who have been on a trip to Australia and Colombo, returned to the Dominion by the Strathnaver on Monday, and will arrive in Dannevirke to-day.

Visitors to Woodville on Saturday wore Mr. and Mrs. Prank M Kelsall and their daughtor, of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Mr. Kelsall, who was on the stall of the Examiner 42 years ago, was visiting his sisters in New Zealand after an absence of 40 years. Accompanied by his wife and daughter, Mr. Kelsall went to Wellington to join the Awatea for Sydney.

Dr. Adah Platts-Mills returned to Wellington on Monday after practising for live years in England, and intends associating herself with the school medical service. Accompanying her was her mother, Dr. D. E. Platts-Mills, who has been in England for two yearß on a health-recruiting visit. Dr. Adah Platts-Mills was for ten months associated with tho Balham Hospital in London, whero she gained wide experience in medical work, and for a further six months sho was rosident medical officer at the Woolwich Hospital for Mothers and Babies, where she secured tho diploma of the British College of Obstetrics.
