Delightful Party At “Flaxbourae”

On Friday evening at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Shannon, “Flaxbourae,” Newbury line, a delightful party was given by Miss Gladys Hall and Mr. Bill Shannon m the artistically decorated dance hail where games, competitions and dancing took place, whilo Mr. and Mrs. Shannon entertained a few friends round a cheery iiro in the drawing room and lounge. <, Mrs. Shannon wore a charming frock of maroon lace, wffiile Miss Gladys Hall was.-gowned in pretty pink floral georgette.
