END-Or-SEASON [FUNCTION Under the auspices of the Alanawatu Hockey Association the annual end-of-season dance Teas held in the Cosmopolitan Hall on Wednesday night, the proceeds of -which are to augment tho funds of the hockey queen (Airs New.) The Mayor (Air. A. E. Alansford), who was present, introduced Airs New and . later'presented shields and cups
won during the season as follow: Senior championship, Phoenix Club; minor, sealed handicap,' Broadway B; junior, Broadway, Phoenix, and Combined Services, equal; seven-a-sido■ tourney, Broadway; senior fivc-a-side, Broadway; junior, Phoenix; most improved team in any competition, Broadway B. On behalf of the Broadway Club, Air Alansford presented a medal, donated by Air G. Davey, to Air. G. Scales, for the most consistent player in the Broadway junior team. A happy time was spent by dancers, Air. V. Turner acting as AI.C. Alembers of the committee were Alcsdames VV. Lundy, C: Page, R. Scales, W. J. Fitzgerald, and W. H. Wilson, and Mr and Mrs Judd.
