ADAMS OUTPOINTS CAREY.
ASHBURTON, Oct. 6.
Les Adams outpointed Bill Carey in a fifteen rounds boxing contest at Rakaia last night. Adams gained points with clean lefts in the first five rounds, Carey having the better of the fighting in the next throe. Adams in the rest of the fight was more aggressive by keeping in and making the fight.
