Tho girders for tho roof were put in position yesterday and it is expected that the garage will be ready for occupation early next month. The barometer reading at 5 p.m. yesterday was 29.7 deg., temperature 6-tdeg. Pahr. Tho day in Pahiatua was bright and sunny with little wind blowing.
