Wellington Harmonic Orchestra
CONCERT IN FEILDING,
Music lovers of Fcilding and district aro to be provided with a rare musical treat on Sunday afternoon next, when the Wellington Harmonic Society will give a grand charity concert in the Tivoli Theatre. Tho society, which possesses a choir of 54 voices, has generously agreed to come to Feilding to give this concert in aid of the health stamp campaign and tho performance will bo under the baton of Mr H. Temple White. Yesterday afternoon the Mayor (Mr T. Collins) presided over a meeting of the committee set up to finalise the arrangements for this unique visit, when it was announced that tire management of the Tivoli Theatre had offered without charge the use of the theatre and appointments for tho concert. All details were finalised and it is confidently expected that the concert will attract a packed theatre. It was agreed to provide for the reservation of scats in all parts of the house for a total charge of Is (including admission).
