Cheltenham Tennis Club Working Bee

In spite of very adverse weather conditions oil Saturday, members of the Cheltenham Tennis Club spent a very busy time at tho courts mowing the grass and preparing the grounds generally for the coming season. After their hard labours, the menfolk wero glad to discard their dripping oilskins and partake of the good things provided for afternoon tea by members of the ladies’ committee, who had also experienced a busy time in putting the club house in order for the opening day on Saturday next.

In the evening the general committee of the Cheltenham Tennis Club met to consider the acceptance of a large number of nominations for membership for the ensuing year.
