LEITTI—BOOTH. A pretty wedding took place in Greymoutli on Wednesday afternoon, when St. Paul's Methodist Church was the scene of the union between Jane, second daughter of Mr. arid Mrs. John Booth, of Greymoutli, and Laurence Herbert, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Leith, of Newman, Eketahuna. Rev. A. Harris, of Greymoutli, performed the ceremony and Airs. Couch officiated at the organ. The church was decorated in Iceland poppies, spring flowers and birth foliage.

Mr. J. Booth escorted his daughter to the church and also gave her away in marriage. Tho bride looked very sweet in a stylish frock of parchment needlerun lace over creme satin made with cowl neck and Doliman sleeves and with satin buttons down the back and a train. She had a creme embroidered veil and satin shoes, while her bouquet was of freestas and spring flowers. Miss Clara Booth, sister of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and her frock was of daffodil cellophane made ou similar lines to the bride’s. She carried a sheaf of Iceland, poppies tied with gold ribbon and had a gold halo, girdle and shoes. The flower-girl, Claire .Smith, a niece of tho bride, wore daffodil lame taffeta and carried a Victorian posy of spring flowers. Mr. I’. Wilkins, of Greymouth, acted as best man. After tho ceremony a reception was held in the Bluketown hall where Mrs Booth received some 50 guests, some of whom came from Christchurch. Mrs. Booth wore a frock of black woollen crepe-de-ckine with a black straw hat to match and she had a shoulder spray of Iceland poppies. Mrs. Leith, the bridegroom’s mother, wore a brown floral ensemble with hat and shoes to tone. Her bouquet was of daphne and violets.

Ilcv. A. V'. Harris presided at the reception, the chief feature of which was a three-tiered wedding calce, the gift of tho bride’s sister, Mrs. 0. Smith. Many old friends of the family were present at the reception. Mr. and Mrs. Leith, whose future homo will be in Pahiatua, left by ear for their honeymoon soon afterward, the brido being attired in a navy pin stripe costume, with a navy blue jack tar straw hat with toning accessories.
