Lambing in Southern Hawke's Bay
SNOW LOSSES LIGHT. So far as ono is able to gather from inquiries made from farmers, though tho snowfall on Thursday night in Southern Hawke’s Bay was the heaviest for many years, and it was feared that thero might be deaths of lambs in consequence, such fortunately was not tho case. Losses where they occurred were comparatively light through the snow, though there is the usual mortality from other causes in pome eases.
