From Our Own Correspondent. All Saints' Ladies’ Guild. Tho monthly social afternoon held in connection with All .Saints’ Ladles' Guild was largely attended. The hostesses for tho occasion were Aiesdames W. E. Barber, K. Bryant, L. C. Bryant, E. Bryant, E. Conlan, A. Nichol and F. C. Rallies (Uroua Downs), R. Owen and Alisses AI. and E. Barber. A welcome was extended to Airs. Burgiji Sr., of Auckland, who is at present on a visit to her son, Rev. K. W. Burgin, and also to Aliss Hay, of Mahora, Hastings, who is also the guest of Rev. and Airs. Burgin. Vocal solos were contributed by Airs. E. Conlan and Airs. E. Bryant. The accompaniments were played by Airs. AY. Al. Thomas. Competitions were won by Airs. R. Robinson. Airs. W. Trueman. Airs. A. Nichol and Airs. E. Bryant. It was decided to convey birthday greetings to Airs. A. S. Easton and to express the wish that she may make a speedy recovery from her indisposition. As this was the last of a series of social afternoons which have been held during the winter months, the president, Airs. C. H. Symons, took the opportunity of thanking those present for their loyal co-operation and said that one and all were looking forward to the Jubilee celebratins which are to be held in November. A short meeting was subsequently held when the treasurer, Aliss Al. Barber, presented a report in connection with tlie annual children’s ball which was held recently. The report proved to be most satisfactory from every point of view.
