McKELVIE CUP CONTEST

The Feiiding Miniature Rifle Club visited Bulls on Friday night to shoot a match wth the Bulls Club for the much sought after McKelvie Cup. The Bulls Club are the present holders and have successfully retained it on two previous occasions this year as well as holding it for the greater part of last season. Much interest was aroused in this shoot as the Feiiding Club is a new one and reports went to show that they were a strong team. This had the Bulls Club on their toes, but the team from Feiiding did not come up to expectations and Bulls easily held the cup by a margin of 27 points, the scores being 1090 against 1063.

For tho winners N. Amon and L. Anderson both got double possibles. Tht total of 1090 on the new target is a real good performance. Following are the detailed scores:—

Bulls: N. Amou 70, 70—140; L. Anderson 70, 70—140; L. Huddleston 69, 69—138; E. McKenzie 70, 68—138; P. Thorby 67, 68 —135; R. White 67, 67 134; D. Lundy 65, 6S —133; J. Hart 67, 65—132.

Feiiding: J. Craig 67, 09 —136; S. Mayliew 66, 69 —135;-H. Rosoman 67, 65—135; H. Richardson 65. 69 —134; J. Aitken 60, 67 —133; L. Shailer 06, 66—■ 132; J. Fraser 62, 6S —130; B. Stuart 62, 6G—128.
