Amateur Cycling

RACE FIXTURES A meeting of the Pahiatua Amateur Cycling Club was held on Tuesday night, Mr A. J. Morgan presiding over an excellent attendance. The secretary advised that ho had received a handsome silver vaso for competition from the patron, Mrs J. O'Brien, and tho vaso was exhibited, members expressing appreciation. The secretary was instructed to write to Mrs O’Brieu conveying tho club’s thanks for her donation.

After some discussion, it was decided to hold the next race on Saturday, four times round the Mangaramaraina block, thus bringing the race into tho town, which will help to stimulate interest of tho general public in the club’s activities.

Tho raco for the following Saturday will be held once round tho Koniui block.
