Spcaking at Friday evening’s meeting" of the Athletic Football Club, the president, Mr C. C.. Smyth, compliment ed players on their fmo team spirit. The club, he said, functioned as one large family —a hard thing to achieve in many clubs, and in view of this harmony ho would do his very best to watch'the interests of the club for ensuing season.
