Wonderful Wool Return
In a letter received by a local farmer, a Marlborough farmer gives his wool returns for this season.
His wool averaged, over all, lGd per lb., the clip averaged lllbs. per sheep. Each sheep returns 14s Sd for wool. This clip came from an old-established Marlborough flock, of CorreidaleIlerino sheep, built up through two generations. The class of the wool can be appreciated by comparing the lGd it returned with the Dominion average of 9.1 d and the approximate average from this district of about Sid lb.
