Guaranteed Price Proposals
It is probable that tho Guaranteed Price Bill will be the second brought before Parliament, the Reserve Bank Bill being the first. The Minister of Agriculture proposes a final discussion of its provisions with the Dairy Board. Whilst tho Bill is before tho House, it is probable that a New Zealand Dairy Conference will be called, especially for the purpose of considering this legislation.
The Minister gives no indication as to what price it is proposed to pay foi butterfat. The Government has kept its secrets wonderfully well, as regards this, and too, its other legislative proposals.
