Feilding Amateur Athletic Club
FINAL SPORTS MEETING OF SEASON This evening the Feilding Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will hold it s final meeting of the track season, proceedings to commence at Johnston park at 6.15 o’clock sharp. The handicaps are as follow: — Bain cup (1 and 2 miles). —Eade, LOOyds, 180yds; Jones, 200, 180; D. Lamberton, 180, ISO; E. Lambertoc, 190, ISO; Lawson, 200, 230; White, IGO, 180; Allen, 200, 280; Cooper, 200, 310. Lamberton buttons (1 lap).—l. Jonos (holder) v. Joe Allen (receives 20 yards). McGregor button (half-mile): Jim Mien (holder) v. Batten. Junior cyclists (half-milo and 1 mile). —Jim Allen, scr, scr.; Stewart, 20, 40; Batten, 20, 40; Green, 100, 200 Children races will be held for trophies as follow:—Boys’ 100 yards,, girls’ 100 yards, 440 yards walk.
