. QUICK DECISION WANTED. ULTIMATUM FROM M.C.C. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Feb. 19. Replying to the Indian Cricket Control Board’s refusal to comply with the new leg-beforc rule ou the English tour, tho M.C.C. says its committee and all the counties unanimously decided that it was in the best interests of cricket to continue the experiment for all first-class and minor county cricket in 1930, and continues: “The committee hopes your bonrd will icconsider the position as it cannot arrange to play the Indian matches under different conditions.” Tho eommiltco asks for a reply by cable. Settlement Expected NEW DELHI, Feb. 19. The Nawab of Bhopal, president of the Indian Cricket Control Board, interviewed beforo the reception of the M.C.C.’s cable, expressed the view that there would be a satisfactory settlement of tho difference. No insurmountable difficulties involving cancellation of tho visit were likely to arise.
