Two-year-old Child Drowned in Sheep Dip
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. The two-year-old son of Mr Alf Brustad, of Waiau, was drowned in a sheep dip at his father’s home to-day. The child was with his father in the woolshed and w r as unobserved for a few minutes. He was found ten minutes later in tho sheep dip. Resuccitatiou measures failed to restore animation. A doctor was called immediately' but the child was dead. The child’s mother, who was well-known by her maiden name as Aliss Aroha Clifford, one of New Zealand’s lirst women fliers, died whe nthe baby was born.
