NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT AT HASTINGS.

Further progress in connection with the North Island croquet championship tournament in Hastings was made on Friday, although rain at midday caused serious interruption. All three greens were flooded and play had to bo suspended. However, tbo water cleared quickly and matches were resumed in tho afternoon. Further results on Friday were: — , Handicap Singles.
