£3 A AVEEK FOR MARRIED PEOPLE?, Dunedin, Last Night. "In six montlys there will probably bo a natr'"'-! superannuation scheme in operation," was a statement made by Dr. D. G. McMillan, M.P., at tho old folks’ party given in the Trades Hall. Dr. McMillan said that tho Labour Party was working oil a scheme of universal superannuation for all old peolc. Though ho did not know what the amounts would be, lie thought that old married couples would receive about £3 a week, and those living by themselves would probably receive about £2 a week. Details still had to be worked out.
