Xmas Pudding Recipe: ljlbs of both flour and sultanas; 4 teaspoon Baking Powder; each of breadcrumbs, almonds, mixed peel; lib. each of chopped suet, currants, raisins; and I2oz. brown sugar; dessertspoon treacle; $ pkt. spice, i teaspoon salt; £ grated nutmeg, 9 eggs, 2 cups milk, $ teaspoon Stevens’ “Cathedral Brand” Essence of Lemon and 2 tablespoons brandy. Mix dry ingredients, add fruit, treacle, eggs, milk, “Cathedral Brand” Essence and brandy. Divide in two — boil S hours.
