I ■ Mrs Mux-do McLeod, of Rongopai street, Palmerston North, accompanied by her small daughter Helen, is at' present staying with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs H. M. Linklater of No. 2 line, Awahou North. Shearing operations in the district are now in full swing, although tho weather still remains unsettled and anything but ideal for drying the fleeces.
